I'll try to breakdown her best ones:

- Start with The Mysterious Affair at Styles, as you suggested. It's Hercule Poirot and his famous sidekick: Captain Hastings's first appearance.

- The Murder of Roger Ackroyd: one of the greatest plot-twists in crime stories (Poirot). Also one of my favorites.

- Curtain: Poirot's finale, make sure you read this after other Poirot's. This is my most favorite, along with Roger Ackroyd (above)

- And Then There Were None: the best sans-detective story from Christie (one of the most puzzling too, where the murderer is revealed at the last sentence.)

- one of Miss Marple's - they're not my favorites, but maybe The Moving Finger or Sleeping Murder (Marple's finale)

- The Secret Adversary (the best of Tommy & Tuppence's, also if you like espionage stories)

- Murder on the Orient Express (Poirot), one of Christie's most famous.

- Dumb Witness (if you like dog.. :) )

- Crooked House (sans-detective), a plottwister too!

There.. I think this list has represented Christie's most influential novels. Maybe.. just maybe.. you'd end up reading all the rest! ;) Anyway, have fun!Fanda Classiclithttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07642429343958941266noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8584058713548027639.post-42635338532277523882020-05-26T16:45:55.083+07:002020-05-26T16:45:55.083+07:00Hi Fanda, I'm really keen to start reading som...Hi Fanda, I'm really keen to start reading some Agatha Christie this year, especially after reading some of your reviews here and previously. Out of all her novels, are there 4 or 5 you would identify as absolutely essential reading? I was going to start at the beginning with The Mysterious Affair at Styles, is that a good choice?Pete Halewoodhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12233848517570942738noreply@blogger.com
