Contemporary vs Fantasy
This week’s
Weigh in Wednesday topic is : Contemporary vs Fantasy. I’m never a fantasy fan,
so my answer is obviously contemporary! I love contemporary because it talks
about real life, what is going on on the real world, what real people face in
real life, and what they do about it. By reading contemporary I got so much
valuable lessons about the world, life and people. Still, I sometimes read
fantasy, but only for a refreshing, usually after reading some ‘tough’ classics…

ReplyDeleteLooks like you prefer classic contemporary!! Beautiful blog!! I like classics, too. I was thinking hi-school drama as "contemporary" although, I prefer Fantasy no matter what. Usually. I'm a new follower!!

DeleteYes, although there are some classics fantasy, but I still prefer the contemporary.
Huh, I do the opposite, I read contemporary when I need a refresh from some other genre ;) so I'm all for fantasy, although I do love reading contemporary, too :)

ReplyDeleteGood points about why you prefer contemporary. It's all personal taste I guess but sometimes it is nice to vicariously live the lives of others through contemporary literature!
