Top Ten Tuesday: Books I Hope Santa Brings This Year

I may not do Top Ten Tuesdays hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl very often, but occasionally I can be tempted to do one, like today’s prompt (it’s super easy – I could have done more than ten!)

Ten Books I Hope Santa Brings This Year:

The Cornish Coast Murder (John Bude)

A Merry Christmas (Louisa May Alcott)

Father (Elizabeth von Arnim)

Lucy Gayheart (Willa Cather)

The Tiger: A True Story of Vengeance and Survival (John Vaillant)

Murder Most Unladylike (Robin Stevens)

The Girl, the Dog, and the Writer in Lucerne (Katrina Nannestad)

Agatha Christie: An Autobiography (Agatha Christie)

Perestroika in Paris (Jane Smiley)

Agatha Christie’s Poirot: The Greatest Detective in the World (Mark Aldridge)

Do you see some favorites here? Books you have read? Or just a few that you are interested in?

  1. Some really good choices, I hope you get some of them. I liked The Cornish Coast Murder and the Agatha Christie autobiography (that one is brilliant). I want to read Father at some stage too. I've just followed you on Instagram, Goodreads and Twitter. :-)

Yes, I've heard praises for the Agatha Christie autobiography, they say it's one of her best!

    1. Oh, I'm relieved that you liked Lucy Gayheart, people rarely talked about this one.
Murder Most Unladylike IS fun & charming! I've read the Christmas edition (loved it!), and now want to read the series from the 1st.

  11. Nice list! LITTLE WOMEN is one of my favorite books of all time, but I actually haven't read anything else by Alcott. That Christmas collection sounds fabulous!

    Happy TTT!
